SANANBIO Named Winner of a 2022 Vertical Farming Automation Award
An independent horticultural news report listed SANANBIO as the winner of the Best AI/Automation Development category at the 2022 Vertical Farming World Awards.
According to HortiBiz's winners report published on September 22, 2022, SANANBIO received the Best AI/Automation Development distinction at the 2022 Vertical Farming World Awards. The awards were announced at a gala dinner held on September 20 during the third annual Vertical Farming World Congress in Brussels.
The competition was organized by Zenith Global, with support from sponsors including Intelligent Growth Solutions and Cultivatd. HortiBiz's published winners list identifies SANANBIO in the automation category and associates its entry with growing racks and lights. Other award categories recognized companies working on lighting, crop innovation, energy efficiency and related vertical farming technologies.
For prospective commercial growers and engineering partners, this is a documented example of SANANBIO receiving industry recognition for an automation-focused entry. The published winners list confirms the award category and recipient; it should not be taken as independent measurement of equipment productivity, financial returns or performance relative to every competing farming system.
