SANANBIO Featured in AFTEA 2024 Living Lab Coverage
A post-event agricultural technology report identified SANANBIO among the Living Lab showcase participants at Singapore’s AFTEA 2024.
AgroSpectrum Asia reported on November 21, 2024, on the third Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia (AFTEA), held in Singapore during November 4–6 of that year. Its event recap identified SANANBIO as one of the technology companies featured in the Living Lab Tech Showcase, alongside businesses working on soil biology and greenhouse solutions.
The article described SANANBIO’s intelligent plant cultivation and LED lighting technologies and connected them with an automated plant factory in Fujian Province. It cited a reported production figure of 1.5 tonnes of vegetables a day at that facility. The same plant factory was independently documented by Xinhua in May 2024; the expo appearance is the separate event described here, not a second factory project.
For international buyers and engineering partners, AFTEA provided a regional forum for evaluating technologies relevant to controlled-environment agriculture. The report supports SANANBIO’s inclusion in the exhibition showcase, but does not document purchase orders or new customer contracts arising from the event. Note that the source’s introductory paragraph contains an apparent 2025 year typo; its publication date, heading and remaining chronology point to the 2024 exhibition.
