SANANBIO Included in LEDinside’s 2021 Global Ag-Tech Company Review
LEDinside included SANANBIO in a January 2022 retrospective of nine agricultural technology businesses, covering plant factories, crop diversity and automation.
In a January 26, 2022 industry review, LEDinside examined agricultural technology businesses and the opportunities and challenges facing indoor plant factories. SANANBIO was included as the article’s China-based company example, with discussion of its photobiology background and cultivation activities.
The review described a wide range of crops associated with SANANBIO facilities, including vegetables, edible flowers and medicinal plants. It also referred to a plant factory at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and an automated vertical farming installation in Yangling using SANANBIO’s UPLIFT technology. These references reflect projects and descriptions available to the publication at the time.
Importantly, the article also addressed industry-wide constraints such as facility investment, energy consumption and workforce requirements. Its inclusion of SANANBIO therefore provides useful historical third-party context rather than proof that every cited project remains active or that general industry projections were achieved.
