SANANBIO Documents UPLIFT Automated Vertical Farm Commissioning in Yangling
A SANANBIO historical project report says its UPLIFT automated cultivation system was commissioned at a 2,400 m² facility in Yangling, China, in September 2021.
According to a historical project account published by SANANBIO on September 30, 2021, the company's UPLIFT automated vertical growing system was commissioned at an agricultural technology demonstration facility in Yangling, Shaanxi Province, on September 3, 2021.
The company described a 2,400 m² building with ten levels of cultivation structures. It said the UPLIFT equipment had completed water and electrical commissioning, with the installation team taking 45 days from equipment arrival to handover. The project included controlled LED lighting, climate management, cultivation-bed transport, and automated handling using shuttles, elevators and conveying equipment.
The archive also recorded an ARK mobile growing unit at the Yangling demonstration area. Together, these exhibits illustrated SANANBIO's historical approaches to different scales of controlled-environment agriculture, from modular container farms to automated multilevel facilities.
