Greenphyto Opens a Tall Automated Hydroponic Farm in Singapore

An industry case from Singapore examining Greenphyto: opened production scaling as reported by VerticalFarmDaily / The Straits Times. No SANANBIO supplier relationship is asserted.

Independent industry case — not a SANANBIO customer reference.
Stage at source reporting: opened-production-scaling

In January 2026, coverage of Greenphyto's Jurong West facility described an automated indoor farm over 23 metres tall, with five storeys and a range of leafy vegetables. The report said the Hydrogreens brand had already reached Singapore retail outlets and that the plant was producing below its stated full-capacity target. Robotics and automation were central to the production model.

The example is relevant to equipment buyers evaluating large-scale automation, crop handling, space utilization and the gap between nominal design capacity and current production. The capacity figure in the report describes a potential full-production level, not verified annual output. This is a case about a separate grower and is not a SANANBIO installation.
